Imtech Office Building, Munich
Filigree, vertically structured metal façade
In future the two communities of Gräfelfing and Planegg in the Munich administrative district will move even closer together. On a 6,704 m² piece of property in Semmelweisstraße in Steinkirchen, Imtech is renting new company headquarters tailored to Imtech. 350 people will work there. The five-floor building complex is designed to comply with high standards. Imtech’s corporate colours are reflected in the filigree, vertically structured unitised façade provided by Dobler Metallbau as a package service alternating with the transparent, floor level, narrow windows with bluish anti-sun glazing also produced by Dobler. That makes the building outfitter’s new office a striking landmark in Munich.
Works:
Approx. 1,400 façade elements in 1.35 m increments in different heights and exterior anti-glare blinds
Glazing partially with bluish anti-sun glass, following DGNB with regard to energy efficiency
