The German Insurance Company Allianz (Allianz Deutschland) has extended its campus in Unterföhring near Munich, with a new 5 story building that provides about 58,000 m² of office space.
A bridge connects the new building with the existing campus buildings. About 1,600 employees work in the new offices. The new building has been certified “Platin” by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für nachhaltiges Bauen (German Sustainable Building Council).

Dobler Metallbau designed, manufactured and delivered about 22,000 m² surrounding facade where “the homogeneous appearance of the facade is defined by translucent glass panels that are located at regular distances in front of opening casements and turn slightly outward from the building line.“ (Auer & Weber Architects).

At times, Dobler produced up to 80 customized elements and at peak times installed up to 120 elements per day. This outstanding performance not only impressed the client, but also highlighted the Dobler Group’s efficiency.
