Monolithic structure at the Breitscheidplatz

Directly opposite from the previous Project “Bikini” which Dobler Metallbau has completed in 2013 on the one side and the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche (Church in memory of Emperor Wilhelm) on the other side a new Project contenting of a tower and a low-rise building is raising and will shape the Area around this public open space in Berlins City West.

Beside retail and gastronomy the building will be used for offices and a hotel. The facade of the low rise building will be shaped by pre-casted concrete feature panels and brass colored feature frames which, milled from solid aluminum blocks, shall provide a visual deep to the windows. For the facade of the high rise tower building light colours have being used. Press metal sheets at the front of the unitized curtain wall panels are providing a bracing structure to the building envelope.
