Omniturm, Große Gallus Frankfurt

The OMNITURM is an innovative high rise project in the heart of the Frankfurter financial district. The building with its highly transparent glass façade and column-free footprint will, after completion, be at least 185 metres tall.
It will be Germany’s first high-rise building of truly mixed use, the first one to contain office, residential and public areas at the same time. This mix becomes also apparent in its architecture; the lower three of the overall 45 floors are open to the public, there, besides the lobby, public services are planned to move in. Above that offices are being built before, from approximately half way up the glass tower, the “hip swing” follows with its apartments. Above this architectural accent further office levels follow; the tower’s floor plan here is a bit slimmer than in the lower section. The OMNITURM will include approx. 44,000 rentable square meters class A office space, approx. 8,100 square meters modern apartment space and more than 1,500 square meters publicly accessible areas. After completion, the high rise will offer flexible and efficient areas of state-of-the-art multifunctional opportunities that fulfill the requirements of modern International businesses as well as demanding urban residents in each aspect. The project is slated to be completed by the end of 2018. Aim is to achieve platinum certification, the highest level of the LEED Green Building Standard, after completion.

Additional facilities inside OMNITURM will include high-quality common areas, bicycle parking bays, charging stations for electric vehicles and catering options. Moreover, directly adjoining a new park and plaza are being built as attractive urban room in the heart of Frankfurt’s financial district.
