Monolithic Structure at Breitscheidplatz

Directly opposite the previous Project “Bikini” which was completed by Dobler Metallbau in 2013 and close to the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche (Church in memory of Emperor Wilhelm) Dobler Metallbau completed another project consisting of a tower and a low-rise building in 2016. This new city landmark will shape the future look of Breitscheidplatz.

Apart from commerce and catering, the building will house offices and a hotel. The facade of the low-rise building is shaped by pre-cast concrete components and brass coloured feature frames milled from solid aluminium blocks, giving spatial structure to the recessed windows. Light colours have been used for the facade of the highrise tower building. Metal sheets at the front of the modular curtain wall panels give the structure a refreshing look.
