… an architectural classic

With 114 metres, the HVB Tower in Arabella Park is the third tallest high-rise building in Munich after the “Uptown” in Moosach and the “Highlight Tower” in Schwabing. And like the BMW Headquarters it is one of the city’s most striking buildings. That explains why the current administrative building of Hypovereinsbank (HVB) was declared a historic monument in 2006.

The 27-floor tower was thermally refurbished in two construction phases and redesigned into a “green building”. Preserving the optical character despite the redesign of the facade elements was a “great challenge” that Dobler Metallbau was happy to take up.
